Each year, we set aside a special week to focus our hearts and minds on the Holy Spirit. We begin the week with a day of fasting and prayer, preparing our hearts and minds for all that God desires to do in and through us.

Each morning begins with worship, followed by a Spirit-filled message from one of our Faith Home staff members. Each evening, we are blessed with a deeply anointed message from a pastor from our local community.

Some of the topics covered throughout the week included:

  • Who the Holy Spirit is, how He works in our lives, and what the Bible teaches about Him
  • Water baptism and the baptism in the Holy Spirit
  • The work of the Holy Spirit in calling and leading us to God
  • Submitting ourselves to God and resisting the devil
  • Seeing with spiritual eyes
  • Tearing down strongholds
  • Contending for the faith and taking back territory the enemy has stolen
  • Entering into His rest and receiving refreshment from the Holy Spirit
  • The laying on of hands for healing and the impartation of gifts and blessings

It was a beautiful and powerful time of worship, prayer, teaching, and seeking God’s presence. Our hearts were encouraged as we focused on the work of the Holy Spirit in the lives of our staff and students.

God faithfully meets us when we seek Him. As He pours out His Spirit upon Faith Home, we all have the opportunity to grow deeper in our relationship with Him, strengthen our roots in His Word, and become more aware of His presence and leading in our lives.

We are grateful for the way God continues to move among us and for every person who comes with a hungry and thirsty heart, ready to receive all that He has for them.

“Whoever drinks the water I give them will never thirst. Indeed, the water I give them will become in them a spring of water welling up to eternal life.”
John 4:14 (NIV)
