Our Faith Home Team was blessed in abundance by the Zion Reformed Church in Ripon. Each year they hold a program called (TASC) Teens Actively Serving Christ. Teens from all over California, Michigan and Iowa meet up at the church and for one week they disperse out to different serving locations.
Seventeen people, both teenagers and their leaders offered us their help to do whatever jobs we needed. Some of the outside tasks they performed were cleaning BBQ grills, taking down a fence, folding up, and putting away shade tarps, moving a large stage, and pulling lots of weeds in our vegetable garden. Inside tasks were; cleaning and detailing of two refrigerators and cleaning office blinds and baseboards.
After working hard all morning, the teens and their leaders enjoyed a picnic lunch and played corn hole under the shade trees of our T.C. park.
These teens were an amazing bunch of youth that displayed a strong work ethic while keeping a good and positive attitude. They shined the light of Christ and did it all with a joyful heart. Our Faith Home students enjoyed meeting and working alongside these incredible volunteers.
